“With the formal commissioning of this mobile water treatment compact unit, we are assured that when deployed to support relief operations anywhere in the archipelago, it would work with utmost efficiency”, said Civil Defense Administrator Usec Ricardo B Jalad during the commissioning ceremony attended by OCD officials and representatives of the Hungarian Water Technologies Corporation (HWTC) held at the NDRRM Operation Center today 23 October 2019.

The Office of Civil Defense joins the National Summit for Strengthening MSME Disaster Resilience to support disaster preparedness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines.
