To highlight the sixth-year commemoration of Typhoon Yolanda, the Office of Civil Defense led the inauguration of the water services for fifteen resettlement sites today, 08 November 2019, in Tacloban City.

Severe Tropical Storm (STS) “QUIEL” may intensify into a typhoon and bring light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains to Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands and Apayao. The storm however remains less likely to make landfall in the country.
